S 9425/S 9430/S 9432 HPLC Pump System
The S 9425/S 9430/S 9432 HPLC Pump System is a highly adaptable and potent HPLC solvent delivery system. It is one of the most adaptable pump systems on the market thanks to its modular design. Isocratic or Quaternary Gradient Pump for S 9425/S 9430 and a Binary High-Pressure Gradient Pump S 9432 are the conceivable setups.
Features:
- Stepper Motor
- Active Mixer
- Lubrication
- Dual-Piston Pumphead
- Optional: Piston Back-flushing
Stepper Motor
The HPLC pump system is driven by a high-power stepper motor. The stepper motor has a much better resolution in the low-flow range than a conventional DC motor.
Active Mixer
The low-pressure and high-pressure gradient module has an active mixer to achieve highly precise and accurate gradient results.
Lubrication
The HPLC pump’s camshaft is constantly lubricated within a sealed chamber to guarantee long lifetime and low maintenance.
Dual-Piston Pumphead
The HPLC pumps use a dual-piston pump head for low pulsation. Together with electronic pressure compensation the pumps are suitable for all analytical tasks in HPLC and GPC.
Optional: Piston Back-flushing
The HPLC pump’s head incorporates an optional active piston back-flushing system; this system is interchangeable with old Sykam pumps and does not require an additional motor.

HPLC Pumps Configurations
One Pump – Three Configurations
Isocratic HPLC Pump
The Isocratic Pump is a robust, low-pulsation solvent delivery system. The pump head is easily accessible from the front panel to make routine maintenance, like changing pump seals, easy and fast. The system is available with a Micro, Analytical, or Semi-Preparative pump head in Stainless Steel or PEEK.
Low-Pressure Quaternary Gradient Pump
The Low-Pressure Quaternary Gradient Pump incorporates an active low-pressure mixer with adjustable mixing volume. The mixing chamber volume can be freely adjusted. An optional integrated vacuum degasser removes dissolved gases in the eluents and prevents air bubbles in the system. The system is available with a Micro, Analytical, or Semi-Preparative pump head in Stainless Steel or PEEK.
High-Pressure Binary Gradient Pump
The High-Pressure Binary Gradient Pump incorporates two pump systems with an active high-pressure mixer with adjustable chamber volume. An optional integrated vacuum degasser removes dissolved gases in the eluents and prevents air bubbles in the system. The system is available with Micro, Analytical, or Semi-Preparative pump heads in Stainless
Steel or PEEK.
